Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the law firm's goals and objectives.
- Provide detailed financial reporting and analysis to firm leadership to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow optimization to ensure financial stability.
- Oversee risk management by identifying financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with legal and administrative teams to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal industry requirements.
- Advise on investment opportunities, capital expenditures, and resource allocation to maximize firm value.
Requirements- Proven experience as a CFO or Fractional CFO, preferably serving law firms or professional services organizations (at least 10+ years of CFO experience required).
- Strong expertise in accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting.
- Thorough understanding of legal industry financial practices and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Ability to provide strategic financial leadership in a part-time, flexible capacity.
- Proficiency with financial software and tools commonly used in accounting and law firm management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to complex financial challenges while maintaining integrity and discretion.
