Podcast Associate (Content & Production - Fractional / Remote)

About the Role

This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of a podcast.

You will work closely with our client to help plan, organise, and prepare episodes — from topic research to guest coordination and pre-recording preparation.

This role is suited for someone who is:

• early in their career
• curious and proactive
• comfortable doing both thinking and execution

If you are looking for a senior, strategy-heavy role, this will not be a fit.

What You Will Do

1. Topic & Episode Support

• Research and suggest conversation topics
• Help refine episode ideas with the team
• Prepare simple discussion notes for recordings

2. Guest Research & Coordination

• Help identify and shortlist potential guests
• Prepare guest briefs (basic background, angles)
• Support scheduling and communication

3. Pre-Recording Preparation

• Ensure all materials are ready before recording
• Send instructions and reminders to guests
• Support basic setup coordination

4. Workflow & Tracking

• Maintain episode tracker and content calendar
• Ensure tasks are completed on time
• Follow up on outstanding items

What This Role Is NOT

• Not a senior strategy role
• Not creative direction
• Not just admin — but also not leadership

Who This Is For

• Is organised and reliable

• Is comfortable doing detailed work
• Can take ownership but still execute hands-on

You do not need years of experience — but you need the right mindset.

Time Commitment

• Up to 16 hours per week
• Flexible, remote
• May increase slightly as the podcast scales
